Kanji Dress

Happy Saturday. It's January 28th and Paula here. I have another Kanji card for you. These stamps are really fun. Last Saturday I made a Valentine day card using the same stamp. This Saturday I've changed the look totally. Go to Kanji stamps at Crafter's Companion to see the whole collection. To see all of the wonderful products available go to Crafter's Companion.

To make this card I used a speckled metallic vellum and Dark Brown dye ink. Let the images dry before trimming and cutting out. A white oval was placed under the vellum and then brads were attached at each corner. The copper dragonfly was added along with a punched out flower that has a sequin and brad at the center. These panels were mounted to a larger White card that has been punched with a decorative border at all sides. The two cut out fans were then layered to two opposite corners with small pieces of tape. This card was layered to a slightly larger copper card and then all were layered to the base soft cream colored folded card.

Hope you all enjoyed this card. I enjoy the whole process of making a card. Stop by and look at the other projects and cards and see what they do. See you next Saturday!
