Wintery Greetings Card

Hi everyone! Samantha here, bringing you another Art-Kure sneaky peek.  I just made a winter time card, without a sentiment. It could be used for just sending a handwritten note to a loved one. One of the great things about card making is, you don't have to make cards only for special occasions, you can make them just to say "Hello".

My take-away message for today is, you don't always NEED that sentiment on your greeting cards. That is especially true with these lovely Art-Kure stamps.  This one is called Castle Cook.

These gorgeous Art-Kure images remind me of those gorgeous landscape paintings.

Here is a close-up:
I just colored in the image using alcohol markers & inked up around the edges of the scallop shape with chocolate colored ink. I inked up the edges of the patterned paper also.

Then I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen.

My finished card measures 3.5 X6inches.

Well that's all I've got for you today. Be sure to check out the rest of the sneaky peeks from Art Kure this week on the CC Blog. See you next Wednesday!

Beautiful card Samantha, and it really does look like lights are in the windows as Kathy said.
