Butterfly Frame

Hello everyone.

It's my (Steph's) turn to post today and I am proud to share with you the newest release from Crafter's Companion - Stamp It Stamps - that you may have seen at CHA last week. These are about the coolest "vintagey" looking stamps there are and here is the Butterfly Frame on my card.

I stamped the image onto kraft card stock and embossed it with black embossing powder so it would still remain dark after I finish inking it. This is the part I had the most fun with - I sprayed the image with white color mist and then dribbled brown color mist on top to age it further. The edges were trimmed with my deckle scissors and inked with brown chalk ink. I embellished the focal image further with some mica flakes (crushed so it wouldn't be so heavy). I kept the rest of the card simple so that the focus would remain on the main image and sentiment - which happens to be from the Fairyopolis winter set.

Check out more card inspiration using this Stamp It collection from my team mates.

Have a fun and inky day!
