Father's Day Bird Card

Happy Saturday and Paula here.

Today I have another card for you from the Stamp It line. I love these images. There is just so much you can do with them. I made a Father's day card with them today. I know it's a little bit early... But, you could change the greeting and there are a few more with this set. To see these stamps and other great products go to Crafter's Companion site.

To make this card:

1. Stamp all images onto cream card stock using black dye ink. Trim images and layer each to a larger copper textured card stock. Cut out the bird cage and leave unlayered.

2. Layer background image to the bottom part of a light green card. Wrap green ribbon around the top part of the wording card and mount to the top part of the light green card. Mount Happy Father's day to the bottom part of the card and at a slant.

3. Punch out bird using the light green card stock and punch hole for the eye and insert the mini black brad.
Use die to cut out fringe circle using copper card stock. Punch out two branches using darker green card stock. Adhere two branches to sides of bird cage. Mount bird cage with branches to the copper fringe circle. and the layer to the card as shown.

4. Layer light green card to a larger dark green card and then layer all to a folded cream card.

Stop by next Saturday for another card and check out the other designer's cards on the blog.
