It's Steph with a Friday post and that's right - this ship has arrived at the Crafter's Companion store.
Lately, I've been bitten by the clean and simple (CAS) bug. Well, my style has always been CAS but this week, more so than others. For this card, I used Sheena Douglass's a little bit sketchy range called Destination. It is one of the most complete stamps I have used and at the right size too. I stamped the image twice - attaching 1 to the card base and cutting out the ship on the 2 image. I mounted the cut out ship on 3d foam tape onto the 1st image to create some dimension. The edges of the card was lined with my gold leafing pen. I did toyed with the idea of adding some twine for a nautical effect but decided not to draw the focal away from the ship - I liked how masculine the card turned out and I've already sold that for Father's Day.
This week we are giving away a lovely new Beatrix Potter set, called The Tale of Benjamin Bunny..
Just leave a comment on today's post by Sunday night and you could win the cute, cute stamp. We will post the winner on Tuesday's blog post. Must be a U.S. resident to win.
