Hello and Happy Saturday. Paula here and I have a a new card for you and it's a Poppet Girl. These new Poppet stamps are adorable. Wikipedia says poppet is an older spelling of puppet. It means a small child or doll. Poppet is also a chiefly British term of endearment , especially for a young woman or girl. So, if someone calls you a poppet consider it a compliment! You'll find these stamps and other great products at the Crafter's Companion site.
To make this card:
1. Stamp Poppet Girl onto white card stock using Black dye ink. I used India ink. Color with Spectrum Noir markers and cut out.
2. Put a cream card through Notebook folder and rub card with Antique Linen Distress dye ink. Trim card.
Put a strip of light pink card stock through die machine and using Piestra Tile border. Also make a light pink Grand Heart using a die.
3. Layer heart to notebook card and wrap die border around the card and tape ends. Wrap green and pink polka dotted ribbon above die border and also tape the ends to the back. Mount Poppet Girl to the left of heart. Place paper flowers with a pink flower brad to the upper left of the heart and secure with a small piece of mounting tape.
4. Mount notebook card to a larger pink card and then to a larger green card. Layer all to a folded light pink card.
Hope you have a nice week and stop by next Saturday. be sure to check out the other designer's cards.
