Busy Doing Nothing

Hi everyone! It's Taylor here again today, sharing a colorful card I whipped up with one of my favorite Sheena Douglass stamps, Busy Doing Nothing.  Isn't that little girl absolutely darling?  She reminds me of my daughter (although, mine has honey-blonde hair). This set comes as an umnounted rubber set. Here are some tips from the Crafter's Companion site about how to use it:
How do I use these stamps?
To use your stamps, simply trim out the image you wish to stamp, spray the back with our Stick & Spray Temporary Adhesive and then mount it to a Rock-A-Block or other acrylic stamping block. As an alternative you can also mount your stamp piece to EZMount Cushion, trim out the image and then use your stamps with any acrylic stamping block. Store your stamps onto binder ready storage panels until you're ready to use them again!
The image was stamped onto Ultra Smooth White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I colored everything with Spectrum Noir markers.  Here's a closer look at what I used:

Yellows: GB5, CT4, CT3, CT2, CT1
Pinks: CR5, CR4, CR3
Browns: DR7, TB8, TN7
Skin: FS9, FS4, FS3
Outline: GG1
Flower/Grass: DG4, DG3, DG2, DG1, GG1

I added in stamps from two of the Flower Fairies stamp sets - the sentiment and butterfly closest to it are from Rose Bay Willow Herb, and the larger butterfly is from the Canterbury Bell set. Both butterflies have Stickles on them. Cotton Candy for the smaller butterfly and Yellow for the larger.  I also used the Yellow Stickles to make three small circles in the upper corner of the card.

I had so much fun coloring this card!  And as a reminder - there is still time to play along in this month's Crafter's Companion USA Challenge!  The challenge this month is to create a card or project with any Crafter's Companion stamp - and you could win a $30 gift certificate to the store!  You should definitely play along!!
