Flower Pop Tutorial

Chrissie Tobas made this lovely card and shared this tutorial on her blog today so we thought we'd share it too!

She used the flower from Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy: Flower Power and stamped it with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth White Cardstock.

Then she colored the flower using Spectrum Noir Markers (CT1, CT3, CT4, BT2, BT3, BT4).

Once it will colored, she used a thumb trimmer and trimmed out the tips of the petals, but not the entire flower

She gently pulled up the flower edges with her finger.

To finish off the card, she attached it to the pink card base and added a sweet sentiment from Sentimentals: Imagine stamp set.  She distress inked the edges with black and some Distress Ink Worn Lipstick.
