New In Stock: Stazon Midis!

We've got brand new products in stock this week, including the newly released Stazon Midi ink pads from Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko. StazOn Midis come in 12 colors: 9 new colors and 3 colors already in the StazOn family.

The ergonomic design of the StazOn Midi pads make them easier to hold when inking stamps and for direct-to-paper applications. They’re more airtight and are easily stackable. StazOn Midis feature the same great ink you expect from StazOn, specially formulated for non-porous surfaces like glass, metal, ceramic, and more.

Taylor has a great tutorial using the Blue Hawaii ink pad and some fabulous products from Sheena Douglass. See how she made it:

The Journey is the Reward Step #1

Step 1: Remove protective blue cling from SHEET Metal and add Stazon Blue Hawaii ink directly to the metal. (Optional: lightly heat set to speed drying time – do not over heat).

The Journey is the Reward Step #2

Step 2: Use the embossing folder to emboss the SHEET Metal. Using Core’dinations Sanding Kit (or other fine grit sandpaper) buff ink off of ridges.

The Journey is the Reward Step #3

Step 3: Stamp images on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Color with Spectrum Noir markers as desired then fussy cut each image and set aside. Colors used:

Fish: GB6, GB3, GB2, OR1, OR2, CR1, CR2
Large Water Lily: PL3, PL2, PL1, PP3, DG2, DG1, IG1
Small Lilies: HB2, HB1, PP1, PP3, IG1
Centers: GB5,CT4

The Journey is the Reward Step #4

Step 4: Stamp sentiment on small cardstock panel. Spray with Shimmer Spritz Silver and Frost, then with Walnut Ink Cornflower and Lilac.
