Allie stamped the large background image from the set. It is a big beautiful background with lots of script sentiments. Once the image dried, she stenciled a butterfly die cut using Radiant Neon inks in Electric Yellow, Electric Orange, and Electric Coral from Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko. She also stenciled the butterfly on a piece of scrap cardstock to attach to the belly band for the box. Allie made this fabulous box to store her pre-stamped “Stamp-It” images!
Here are the steps Allie followed for making the background and decorating the butterfly.
Sponge ink on over the butterfly.
Use a piece of scrap paper or a die cut to hold the paper in place. TIP: This is so you don’t get a fingerprint on it because sometimes the ink won’t adhere.
The third photo shows how the butterfly image looks.
Mount the butterfly just to the right of the stenciled image.
Glitter the wings.
Embellish with rhinestones.
Note, for the belly band, she stenciled the same way, but blended some yellow onto the white areas for a soft patterned look.
