Tutorial: Easel Card Re-do

It's a new week & it's time to get crafty!  Many of the Crafter's Companion CD-ROMs include Easel Card Designs.  Stephanie put together a fun step-by-step picture tutorial from the Barkley Everyday Papercrafting CD-ROM with the elements of an Easel Card, but used them in a new way.
She cut the larger panel from the Easel Card base in half, making three equal panels then flipped the paper on its side.

She trimmed down the focal image, so it would fit inside my horizontal base & matted it with grey cardstock for contrast.
Then she cut out one of the paper buttons, edged it with a bit of black ink, and tied a bow with grey twine for an embellishment accent.

She used the extra paper panel (which would have matted the image in the Easel Card design) and added one of the tags from the card embellishments.

She stamped a sentiment from
Memories are Made stamp set on the inside of the card.
Here's Stephanie's finished card design featuring another sentiment from Sentimentals Friends and Family .  Barkley makes an adorable Father's Day Card ... perfect to send along with a pair of new slippers.
