Tutorial: eBrush & Brambly Hedge!

Trena created a whimsical card using an image from the newest additions to the Brambly Hedge collection (available Spetember 23rd!). This adorable swinging mouse is from the Sea Story set.

The main image stamped onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock and colored with Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils, Spectrum Noir Paper Stumps, and Spectrum Noir Blending Solution.

The image was colored one section at a time, starting with the darkest color on the outer edges and then lighter towards the center section and then ending with the lightest color.

The colors were then blended with a very small amount of solution and a light touch in small circles. In smaller areas, with only the pencils, it was blended with the lightest color.

Designer Note: Trena puts blending solution in a small container with a sponge to control how much she picks up on her paper blending stumps.

The following Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils were used:

070, 074, solution
shirt: 024, 026, 112
mouse: 034, 085, 091, solution
hands, feet, tail: 085, 091

To add the streaks of blue for the sky, Trena made a mask for the mouse with a low tack tape and made clouds using the new eBrush System, her TB8 Spectrum Noir marker and a piece of torn paper.

Before removing the mask, she stamped the large tree are from Sheena's A Little Bit Scenic - Pinescape using Distress Ink Pads (Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn)..

As a final step, she sprayed the card base with the same cloud bands, extended his rope with a fine line marker, and added a sentiment from another new Brambly Hedge set called High Hills.

Looks great! I have a question: how noisy is this airbrush? Has anyone tried it with Copic markers to see how easy it is to use vs the others available for those markers?

I follow Trena and made a mask for the mouse with a low tack tape and made clouds using the new eBrush System, her TB8 Spectrum Noir marker and a piece of torn paper.
