Coming soon ~ Stencils!

Hi Friends!  Today we are sharing an exciting new product line coming out next week ~ STENCILS! Next week Sheena Douglass will be coming out with an entire collection of Stencils that coordinate perfectly with many of her stamp sets.

Kendra made a project to share today using the Eiffel Tower Stencil and then added some Sheena Douglass stamped images to finish off her piece.

Here's how she made her card.  To begin, she took a piece of Kraft cardstock and stamped the crackle image from Sheena's Ageing Beautifully stamp set.

Next, to keep the cardstock and stencil in place, use some EZ Release Tape to hold both down to the work surface.

Using the new eBrush System, load the chisel tip of the Spectrum Noir EB5 marker & use the 3rd brush setting to get the most ink output.

Then using the eBrush,  spray color all over the area.  You will make a mess of your stencil; however, it can easily be cleaned up with Spectrum Noir Blender Solution.

Carefully pick up the stencil, leaving one end taped, just to make sure you covered everything.  If you leave one end taped down, you can easily lay the stencil back in place and spray more if needed.

Next, she used Antique Linen Distress Ink and rubbed the ink pad directly on the cardstock to create an aged look.

After ruffing up the edges, she added a sentiment from the Sheena Douglass True Colors set & trimmed it with a die from the Die'sire Scallop Tags set.  Then along the edge of the card, she added some leafy images from the Silhouette Garden stamp set.

The Eiffel Tower Stencil will be available for purchase on Wednesday, October 15th... along with the rest of the stencil collection.
