Tutorial: Milk Carton Gift Box

Hi Friends & Happy Friday!  Chrissie made this fabulous milk carton tutorial & we are excited to share it with you.

Chrissie used the Crafter's Companion Ultimate Tool along with the Special Treat Embossing Board. She embossed and cut out two identical sides of the carton to make the full box.

To adhered the pieces together, she used extra strong tape runner so it won't fall apart.

Then using the score marks, she folded and attached the box with more adhesive.

Next, she cut a 2 1/4" square piece of pattern paper for the bottom of the box.

The Ultimate Tool along with the Special Treat Embossing Board do all the work for you since everything is embossed right on the board.  It is super easy to just pinched the top together and it's done!

Next, Chrissie started on the images for her box. She used the label image from Stamp It Australia: French Travels and then inked it up with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Then she stamped this beautiful flower from Stamp It Australia: Floral Fancies using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils (013, 024, 029) and the Blending Solution and paper stumps.

To soften it up, she added the same Distress Ink to the flower before adhering it to the carton.

For the final step, she added some ink to the edges of the carton, just to give it more of a distressed feel.

What a beautiful project!  Make sure you keep checking here on our blog, visit our Facebook pagefollow us on Twitter and on Pinterest for more sneak peeks, inspirations, and news!
