Tutorial: Adding color to Embossing for a "Lovely" look!

Happy Valentine's Day!  To celebrate today, we are sharing a lovely card that Christiana made using the Embossalicious Sugar & Spice Embossing Folder called Love Birds.   Then she added a bit of color to really make it stand out!

Step 1: Trim white pearl shimmering cardstock to 5 1/2'' x 4''.

Step 2: Center card stock on the right side of the Embossalicious 6x6 Love Birds folder. Run through your embossing machine.

Step 3: Watercolor within the embossed edges using Distress inks or markers (colors shown: spun sugar, tumbled glass, pumice stone). Use minimal water and be careful not to overwork the paper.

Step 4: Die cut flowers and leaves from white pearl, pink pearl, and green envy shimmering card stock with the Die'sire Classiques Delicate Flower die. Assemble.

Step 5: Emboss sentiment with Sentimentals All You Need Is Love stamp set. Die cut with Die'sire Essentials Just The Ticket dies. Adhere ticket and flower to bottom left of card front.

Step 6: Adhere card front to standard 5 1/2'' x 4 1/4'' card base mounting flush with the right side.
