Tutorial: Gift Card Holder
How sweet is this gift card holder from Vera? She's made a tutorial so you can make one to dress up the next git card you give (or maybe make a few, to have some on hand in emergencies!).
Step 1: Cut 2 piece of 3.5” x 5”, one from white cardstock for box base and one from colored cardstock for the box lid. Place the white piece on the Ultimate Tool on the side mark with Box Base. Scored at the first line on all 4 sides.
Step 2: Snip a skinny triangle on the long side of the piece.
Step 3: Adhere the colored embossed cardstock to the card base.
Step 4: Repeat step 1-3 with the colored cardstock piece.
Step 5: Cut a piece of cardstock slightly smaller than the box lid. Stamp (Using Memento Tuxedo Black) with image & color with Spectrum Noir markers (IG1, IG2, IG4, CR6, TN1, TN2, TN3, LG5, LY1, CT3, CT4, BGR1). Add ink to edges using Memento Pear Tat (on bottom) and Ranger distress Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass on top/sides.
Step 6: Adhere the finished piece to the box lid. Add ribbon around the box.
