Making wonderful gift boxes is a quick and easy way to dress up any gift under your tree and this amazing box that Alexia made couldn't be any cuter!
You will need the followings for this project:
- 6 x 6 Card Stock (for the lid)
- 9 3/4 x 9 3/4" Card Stock (for the base)
- paper doilies
- flowers and rhinestones
NOTE: For the original measurement on the ultimate tool, the height for base is designed to be slightly larger than the height of the box lid but the following project is modified for a taller base.
Step 1: Place 6 x 6 card stock against the panel that labeled "box lid" and score at the second score line, score all four sides.
Step 2: Cut the score card stock to form tabs as pictured above.
Step 3: Place your 9 3/4 x 9 3/4" card stock against the panel that labeled "box base" and score at the second line from the bottom. Score all four sides. Cut the ones marked in red below to form tabs (so we can glue them together to form a box).
Step 4: A fun way to dress up the box base is to use paper doilies.
Step 5: Color stamped Christmas image using Spectrum Noir markers and use it to embellish the top of box lid. Also, stamp sentiment "Bright and Merry" and make it into a tag for the gift box.
Step 6: Embellish with paper flowers and bling.
It's as easy as that to make beautiful packaging for your Christmas gifts!
