Tutorial: Get Ready for the Big Game!

The big football game is coming up the first Sunday in February and Kendra has some fun party decorations all ready to go!

Supplies used for these projects:

The Big Score
The Ultimate Tool, Sweet Treats Boards (Popcorn Box)
Die'Sire Circle Dies, Alphabet & Number Dies, Scallop Cupcake Wrapper, Scallop Circles, Cupcake Insert - Flag Die, Pennant Bunting, Bebunni Stars
Textures Embossing Folder - Hessian
Star Embossing Folder

First up, she created some snack boxes using The Big Score and The Sweet Treats Embossing Boards for The Ultimate.
This is the fun popcorn box from the Sweet Treats Boards.

Just emboss two of them, attach the flaps with strong adhesive and then decorate for the appropriate occasion.

Next, she made some fun cupcake holders or treat cups using the Die'sire Scallop Cupcake Wrapper.

 How to make the footballs:

Step 1: Emboss brown cardstock using the Textures Embossing Folder - Hessian
Step 2: Trim with Die'sire Circle Dies (any size)
Step 3: Using the same cut circle and die, line up the circle die again trimming off part of the circle (see above).
Step 4: Hand trim white cardstock for the laces.

A close up of one of the snack boxes.

How to make the Snack Box:
Step 1: Trim Kraft Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 10"
Step 2: With the 10" side of the cardstock along the left side of the board, score at the 2" mark.
Step 3: Flip the cardstock 180* and score at the 2" mark.
Step 4: With the 8 1/2" side of the cardstock along the left side of the board, score at the 4" and 6" marks.
Step 5: Fold and burnish the score marks.
Step 6: Cut the center flaps to the score lines (photo above)
Step 7: Add adhesive to one of the inside long flap and the short flap on each side and fold the box together.

Here are the festive snack holders, popcorn box and dip markers.

To make these cute dip markers, type the titles in a word processing software and print on Kraft Cardstock.  Then trim with the Die'sire Cupcake Insert - Flag die.

Love the popcorn boxes!!! What a great way to celebrate Game Day or just movie day! You could put the names of the movies you are watching and images that go with the movies on the decorations and make it a party! TFS!
