Tutorial: Create Your Own Patterned Paper!

Don't have the right papers for a project? Make your own using a stamped image! Giovana has a tutorial here to show you how to do this and then takes it to the next level by creating a fabulous cupcake holder.

Crafter's Companion Supplies:

Step 1: Trace the cupcake box on a piece of construction paper, cut it out.

Step 2: Sponge the cupcake box with Spun Sugar Distress Ink (or any color you desire), cover it until you get an even coat, more layers, more color.

Step 3: Stamp Wallpaper stamp on a piece of Ultra Premium White Cardstock in St. Valentine StazOn Ink. Trace the pieces using the template, cut them out and ink all edges with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.

Step 4: Add slightly bigger piece behind all the stamped pieces of Rose Pearl Shimmering Cardstock, then add Red Liner taper to all the laps and adhere them to create the box.

Step 5: Punch holes on the top score lines, then add ribbon and secure it making 2 or 3 nods, this way your ribbon and bow will stay in place.

Step 6: Die-cut and emboss a piece of Candy Red shimmering cardstock using Lace Hearts Cupcake wrapper.

Step 7: Add a cupcake, here I used yummy warm chocolate brownies. Add cupcake (Brownie) to box and give it to a love one.

TIP: Don' discard the little hearts from the cupcake wrapper, I used them to decorate the box.
