Tutorial: Valentine Gift Bag
Do you need a gift bag for that valentines gift you have for your loved one? Alexia will show ou how to make one in this fun tutorial!
Crafter's Companion Supplies:
Other Supplies: Two 8.5 x 11" patterned papers, two 3 x 11" strips of paper, two 6 x 8" red cardstocks, embossing powder (white)
Step 1: Using Ultimate Tool, place 8.5 x 11" paper (vertically) against the box lid side and score on the third line from the left as shown in picture below.
Do this to both sides of the paper and repeat same step with the other piece of patterned paper. Score the two 3 x 11" of papers the same way
Step 2: Place lower part of the die on the scored patterned paper above and make partial cut on the patterned paper (do this to both patterned papers).
The second picture above is what you will get from the partial die-cutting.
Step 3: Take two of the 6 x 8" red card stocks and die-cut them using the same die used above.
Then adhere the red card stock to the back side of the patterned paper (by matching it to the partial cut on the patterned paper). Connect the two patterned papers together by using the scored 3 x 11" strip of paper, do this on both ends of patterned papers.
It should looks like the picture above.
Step 4: Seal the bottom of gift bag like in the picture.
Step 5: To create the image on the gift bag, stamp and heat emboss image in white embossing powder and color it with Spectrum Aqua watercolor markers.
Step 6: Create other embellishments for the gift bags using Crafter's Companion's decorative dies. Finish gift bag by decorating with the embellishments.
