After Easter, you could make this for any occasion... they would make wonderful favors for a party or wedding, or to hold hostess gifts throughout the year, just change up the patterned paper or add decorative stamps! Crafter's Companion US supplies:

Other Supplies: hole punche, assortment of ribbon, paper trimmer, scissors

Step 1: Die cut two ovals using your preferred cardstock.

Step 2: Using your Ultimate Tool, score each oval at the Gatefold 12x12 scoring line. This will give your ovals a flat bottom, allowing them to sit flat on a table.

Step 3: Cut another piece of cardstock to 6 inches by 3 inches. This will be used to form the basket.

Step 4: Score the length of the cardstock ½ inch on either side. Score the width of the cardstock 1 ½ inches on either side.

Step 5: Crease the score lines you have created. Cut inward along the 1 ½ inch score line and stopping at the ½ inch score line. Then miter the corners so that it begins to look something like the picture.

Step 6: Glue the rectangular piece of cardstock to the oval using Tacky Glue. Do the same thing to the second oval. Your basket is now formed.

Step 7: If desired, use a hole punch and add ribbon handles. Add any further embellishments you desire.

Have fun making some of these and filling them full of chocolates for your friends and family!
